Terms of use

These terms cover the VoiceMerge apps for Mac and iPhone, the website voicemerge.app, and the VoiceMerge credits service. "We" is the operator of VoiceMerge (Nameverse, Inc.). By using them you agree to these terms.
The apps
The apps are provided free of charge. The source code is available on GitHub under its own licence, which governs the code; these terms govern the service and the credits.
Credits
Credits are a prepaid balance used to pay for AI requests made through our service. Each request is charged at the rate shown in the app, which includes the provider's cost plus our margin; the ledger in the app shows each charge. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except as required by law or by the store you bought them through. Credits do not expire while your account exists.
If you enable auto-refill, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for the pack you chose whenever your balance falls below the threshold you set. You can turn it off at any time in the app or on the credits page.
Promotional codes may carry conditions (an expiry, a limit on uses) and can be withdrawn if misused.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to violate the rights of others, or in ways that violate Anthropic's usage policies (which apply to requests we forward to them). We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, and will refund the unused balance in that case unless the abuse was fraudulent.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it. The on-device features of the apps do not depend on the service and keep working without it. If we discontinue the credits service we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund unused balances.
Warranty and liability
The apps and the service are provided as is. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing what is typed, edited or sent on your behalf. To the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app and dated here. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
