Get VoiceMerge
The Mac app is a direct download from this site, signed and notarized. Only the current version is offered here; earlier releases are listed in what's new.

Install on the Mac
- Open the downloaded
VoiceMerge.dmgand drag VoiceMerge into Applications. - Open VoiceMerge from Applications. It lives in the menu bar; there is no Dock icon.
- Grant Microphone when asked, and turn on Accessibility in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility so it can type at the cursor. The onboarding window walks you through both.
- Wait for the speech model to download (about 1 GB, once). The menu shows progress.
- Optional, for free cleanup on your Mac: install Ollama and pull the model. Settings → Intelligence shows the two commands. Without it you get the raw transcript, or use a key or credits.
Updating
Download the new disk image and replace the app in Applications. Your settings, dictionary, replacements and history stay. The menu bar shows the installed version; the current version is listed at the top of this page and in what's new. Automatic updates are on the roadmap.
Verifying the download
The disk image is signed with our Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS checks it when you open it. To compare the checksum yourself:

Uninstalling
Quit VoiceMerge from the menu bar and move it from Applications to the Trash. To remove its data too, delete ~/Library/Application Support/VoiceMerge (history, dictionary, settings) and, if you want, ~/Documents/VoiceMerge Meetings. API keys are removed from the Keychain when you clear them in Settings.
